A Tree molts its first bark, thus departing the larval or “sapling” stage and becoming a fully grown tree, capable of reproduction. A tree only ingests nutrients from the roots during the larval phase and will have to subsist on this food long enough to fruit before dying.
The tree pictured was immersed in “Royal Sap” as a larva and thus has the potential to grow into a Queen Tree.

The pure fact that this doesn’t even need a title or a description or anything speaks volumes. I mean look at the number of notes this has. There are so few people who don’t recognize it. And the song itself just gives you chills. It’s so magical.
